Kanioko
Kanioko is a Brazilian artist and illustrator. During the pandemic they really focused on their passion and exploring their illustration style, gaining recognition and commissions from high-profile companies.
Their work is mostly character-focused with humorous and quirky genderless personas, exploring themes such as queerness and identity. They are driven to tell stories for people who didn't grow up with the representation they deserved. Kanioko is also inspired by themes including personal childhood experiences, nostalgia, Brazilian culture, early Gen-Z kids background, Y2K aesthetics, 90s cartoons and their experience as a Latinx Queer/NB folk.
Clients: Google, Vogue Eyewear, Coca-Cola, Bloomberg, Nike, The New York Times and Meta.
